    போடுது நல்வேடமப்பா

வேறெதுவும் இல்லையப்பா
    ஊழ்வினையின் பயனப்பா

சீரான திருப்புகழப்பா
    கையிருக்க துயர் ஏனப்பா - அதை,

மாறாமல் ஓதப்பா
    மனக்கவலை தீருமப்பா

ஏறுமயில் வாகனப்பா
    எப்போதும் நம் துணையப்பா

கூறுவது மெய்யப்பா
    உடன் வெற்றி சேருமப்பா!

    pOdudhu nalvEdamappA

vEredhuvum illaiyappA
    oozhvinaiyin payanappA

seerAna thiruppugazhappA
    kaiyirukka thuyar EnappA - adhai,

mARAmal OdhappA
    manakkavalai theerumappA

ERumayil vAhanappA
    eppOdhum nam thuNaiyappA

kURuvadhu meiyappA
