anju vidha bUthamum: The five elements, namely, earth, water, fire, air and sky, and
karaNa nAlum: the four entities, namely, mind, intellect, perception and egoism,
andhi pagal yAdhum aRiyAdha: are unable to discern anything about It in day or night;
andha nadu vAdhi ondru miladhAna: It does not have an end, or middle or origin;
andha oru veedu peRumARu: and It is that blissful liberation which I want to attain. To do that,
manju thavazh sAral anchayila vEdar mangai thanai nAdi vanameedhu: (the feet that went to the forest looking for) the damsel of the KuRavAs, VaLLi, who was brought up by the hunters at the hill with its peak covered by clouds -
